What We Do

Eco Minerals combines proven deep-ocean survey operations with an emerging critical-minerals exploration and development platform. Through our subsidiaries, we provide advanced offshore survey and data services while building the technical, regulatory and engineering capabilities needed to explore and potentially recover polymetallic nodules containing nickel, copper, cobalt and manganese.

Survey Services

Through Deep Sea Vision, we own and operate specialized deep-ocean survey assets capable of supporting both commercial offshore projects and mineral-resource development. Our integrated platform combines full-ocean-depth sonars and AUV systems, box cores for physical sampling, as well as tooling for environmental baseline studies. These capabilities allow us to serve third-party customers while also supporting resource delineation and the exploration programs required for regulatory approval.

Eco Minerals is developing an integrated approach to deep-sea mineral exploration and recovery. Our focus is on polymetallic nodules containing critical minerals including nickel, copper, cobalt and manganese.

What are
Nodules?

Polymetallic nodules are naturally occurring mineral deposits that lie loose on the deep-ocean floor, often thousands of meters below the surface. Formed over millions of years, they contain economically important concentrations of nickel, copper, cobalt and manganese—metals used across energy storage, electrical infrastructure, transportation and advanced manufacturing. Because the nodules sit on top of the seafloor rather than within hard rock, they can potentially be collected without the drilling and blasting associated with conventional terrestrial mining.
